In my personal headcannon for the Kiridans, Kirby's species, I say that they can live for almost an eternity. In fact, they live for so long, that sometimes they stop 'living' and they content themselves in just 'being'. Sometimes, they get so lost and away from life that they are never seen again, and they just fade away into non-existence...
