Trivia: Inside their body, or, as they call it, their "shell", Kiridans have no organs, but rather a pocket Universe where they store all that they are; that includes their Core, the very center of their being. The Core holds all the memories and feelings of a Kiridan as well as all of their powers, but as powerful as it can be, it is also very fragile and dependant on its environment. If even a fraction of the Universe it swims in is disrupted or taken away, a Core can easily be disturbed enough to stop producing dust/energy, which is what holds the pocket Universe together. Hailan has the ability to see people's Cores; it appears to her as a bright ball of white light, surrounded by the aura of that person.
