Yoruchou - (yo-roo-tcho)
Here is the first concept art of a character that I have yet to show, I had this idea for this little guy for a long time but never really could put it down on paper, for some reason. This little ball of butterfly fluff is actually Hailan's son! He is barely younger than Kirby during A New Age, just about 70 years old, and he retains a lot of traits from his mother. While his role in A New Age isn't that big, I do have plans for stories focussing on him, so you'll see more about that later.
He has the same eyes as Hailan, and it's suspected that he has similar powers to hers; being able to see the energies and cores of people, even when they're behind walls. His wings are too tiny still to fly with them, but that doesn't mean he doesn't try! He is also very sensitive, and an emotional ball of feels; he'll cry easily when he gets lonely or gets hurt, the poor thing.
His name, Yoruchou, is a combination of two japanese words; yoru, meaning 'night', and chou, meaning 'butterfly'.
If you didn't know, okaasan is the japanese word for 'mother', so that's what Yoruchou says when he sees Hailan.
