As Ulkhri stepped into the fenced area where the Vesper Ray was kept, he smirked lightly as he observed the creature's familiar shape and demeanour. He took slow steps, making sure to keep eye contact with the distrustful creature, and once he was sure it wouldn't bite, he slowly extended a hand toward it. It hovered a bit closer, its angry gaze fixated on the tall Ikrouk, and Ulkhri chuckled.

"You remind me of something from back home, little one. It's okay. I'm not here to hurt you..."

My entry for a DTE (Draw to Enter) raffle for Crown of Septima, we get the chance to have a Vesper Ray Whelp as a pet and I want this cute little bab so much. :'D I'm also getting more used to drawing Ulkhri in a manner I like, so that's cool too!
