Trivia: Kiridans are covered in a very, very short layer of fur, short enough so that their skin feels like velvet to the touch. Not only does it regulate their body heat, it is also why Kiridans are known to be so smooth to the touch. This little fact is why some people like to refer to them as "living plushes", although Kiridans as a whole are not fond of that name. That fur, if left unattended, can grow thicker in some places, notely around the face, head and hands. Subspecies of Kiridans, like Hailan for example, have traits that make their fur much longer naturally, although that trait is not present in pure-blooded Kiridans.
