I am very curious what role she'll get after this. From her head on, aggressive move I could imagine a hunter like in Midnightgarde :> Since Keirr acted much more strategic and became a guard that needs to have more planning instead of following gut feelings.

2021-04-30 12:14:38 +0000 UTCFerah attacking him head on doesn't have to mean that she knows how to act like a reindeer...she's just using common sense here by attacking him. She didn't interact with the herd because she doesn't know that's reindeer behavior. Nova's can interact this way, they butt heads all the time, even females, so Ferah could have seen that and replicate that behavior.

I get Aira being in a beast form half her lifetime and failing the rite (plus being a cripple). Keirr had some background from his dad and past experience with herding in their last location (before Asmundr got relocated). Ferah was with Meteor Tribe as a breeding slave half her life and then she spend running away with Kargo (they had no livestock). She never herded and recently been too weak and not emotionally invested in anything in the Whispervale Tribe. When did she learn all this? Ferah confirmed that she doesn't know how to behave like a reindeer with Felidae interaction in page 665. This is obviously not instinctual.

2021-04-26 21:57:43 +0000 UTCI teared up reading the comments about Kargo being right there with her. He totally is standing right there, smiling wide and cheering her on. The strength she has in that (compared to fraujar) small body, her fearlesness, her willingness to go straigh in for everything. This isn't about distracting one reindeer cow to be with her, oh no, ferah is going in for them all in this roleplay! She is determined to get it all or nothing, and i have a feeling Fraujar is surprised that she is this physically strong, even though i do think he had an inkling and took on the role in her rite to let her show them her true strength, but i bet he isn't challenged like this often and you can see him struggling for real in that last panel. I am so proud of ferah she is finally showing everyone what an amazing fighter she is besides her wonderful personality. Fuel it all into this, queen, all the anger and grief and hatred, and show them what a true fighter can do, against all odds.
