As Artur was silently studying his runes by the light of the fire that night, he suddenly heard a sound that made him raise his head out of his concentration; it was a snore. Mask was sleeping soundly against his rock, so soundly in fact that Artur could quite clearly see the rather generous veil of saliva oozing out of his slightly opened beak. The boy held his chuckles in; if only he could take a picture of this. Mask would be so upset.
I had a rather annoying headache while working on this so I kept it very simple :'D It happens. Also hey, maskless Mask! His face isn't really that much of a plot twist, we'll see it plenty of times.
