Anyone noticed that Argeirr is no longer wearing the collar that once bound the three siblings? Does this mean he was cast out too or did he leave on his own accord to search for Jahla?

It still makes no sense for me, though it is normal since we dont know yet what is behind all of this... I hope maybe we will get clarification here since they already talked more than flamegarde did with their attack on sight behavior... Hmmm.

2021-02-16 09:18:25 +0000 UTCLooks like that black dog is part of Skullcrest, their paint looks almost skull like, but less than Virun's. Virun didn't seem hostile to Jahla. Uthorim of Steelthorne seemed very aggressive towards the Meteors, and Jahla didn't take well to it but said. But the markings on the black dog definitely scream Skullcrest to me.

And yet meteor tribe consisted mostly of southern jaros and were actively enslaving every dog they came across or killing them, likely forcing other tribes to move south as well. Don't see southern jaros getting the same treatment...

I remember I said waaay back on page 392 (when Jahla was leaving Origin Orion and Argeirr begged her not to go) that I had a bad feeling that Argeirr might try to follow his sister, but as it’s been so long since then, I didn’t think this would actually happen... and yet, here he is now! Poor Argeirr. :( These dogs have no right to attack him, I know that they are unaware of his developmental disorder (so they can’t know that he is pretty much nothing more than a big pup), and to them, he might *look* dangerous, but as Rome pointed out, he is clearly surrendering and is obviously not a threat to them; why attack and/or kill someone who is clearly not threatening them in any way? Just because he looks different? That’s so wrong... and as others have already said, extremely hypocritical; they consider the “wolves” to be cruel, merciless beasts, and yet, look how *they* are acting! And now I feel like Jahla is going to be forced to attack and/or kill again in order to protect her brother... which, I will not blame her at all, if this ends up being the case, but obviously, if she does, that will only further the stereotype that all “wolves” are bad, vicious, evil killers (never mind that, in the first instance, she was only defending herself and Thakir, and now, in this instance, she would be defending Argeirr, the majority of the dogs don’t know that, nor would they care, even if they did). Hopefully these dogs will see reason before it comes to that, but somehow I really doubt this will be the case. >.>

But I really couldn't see him staying in that tribe of war. I can see a few escaping actually. But glad he's finally with us!!! And that black leopard dog! Pretty!

But if that is just Thakir and Jahla, then shouldn't the entire tribe of Aki's have teeth growing at exponential rate?

Are the common dogs equating Liulfrs to Akis? Do they know the difference between the two? Is the history passed by the gods or something? This was never elaborated. Kinda confused. O_o

Especially since he knows Akis aren't very welcome on the main land. So I guess he either went on his own or Rohgir completely lost it and banished him as well

Thank goodness Jahla and co was close by :C Aregirr is my favourite boi, he would never hurt anyone. These dogs need to catch a clue. His body language symbolizes him not being a threat, he's submissive AF here. They have no right to be cornering him and assuming he's there to do harm. Clearly he's not due to how close to the ground he is. Like in that middle panel he's legit as close to the ground as one can get without becoming a part of it themselves. What a joke these dogs are. The dogs should see that he's no threat. I wonder if he was banished, or he miss Jahla and want join to her or may be Rohgir sent him here. I truly don't understand so great hatred towards Akiulrfs, they are even not real wolfs. I can understand distrust or even wilingness to keep distance, but this dogs want to kill all beings who are just similar to wolf. I hope that there will be no fight here, angry Jahla in defence to her brother would shred this dogs to pieces and opinion about her would be only worse, and dogs would grow stronger in their hatred.

Same here, i am wondering are they acting on commands from their leader following his howl or did they simply stumble across Argeirr? These racists are really getting on my nerves, he isn't even armed ffs.

I truly hope he wasn't thrown out or anything. It seems he has some supplies with him, i wonder if he was sent as sort of a peace offering by Rohgir? Or maybe he ran away? Or was thrown out. I like that last option least to be honest. I hope the dogs understand that Argeirr is no threat, he has a disability for fucks sake and only howled cause he must have been scared. Poor baby. He looks to be alone, and probably has no idea why these dogs are attacking him for no reason, i cannot get over how angry that makes me. Racists SUCK.
