I started this portrait of Demon Rin during a livestream, the first one in quite a while. It gave me motivation to finish this quickly instead of letting it sit! I must say, I am very pleased with the result, it's been a while since my last portrait in a similar composition, and looking back at my older portraits, I am very happy with where I'm headed in terms of style and skills. I've been testing this rougher look in my paintings lately, where I'm using pure blacks for both the linework and shadows, I'll most likely use it more as it's very pleasing to work that way.
