This is a repaint of an old drawing from 2016, one of my most popular drawings online, a portrait of Cynder. I thought this one needed a fresh coat of paint, and my goodness am I glad I took the time to make this. Reworking on older pieces has a particular way of instilling a sense of confidence in one's craft, because you have no choice but to directly look at how much you've progressed, and in that sense? I am very proud, and I'll say again and again.
I added the old version for comparison, and I think this shows exactly in which direction I took my art this year compared to previous years. Crazy what four years can do, huh?
