A Hunter of Trolls

This is from the Netflix show Trollhunters, from the final episodes of the series. Even after I finished watching it, this particular shot stayed glued to my eyes, so I knew I had to draw it out eventually. I finally had time and motivation to actually do it, and I'm very pleased with the result! I'm again trying out a more texture-oriented approach to my painting style, and I must say it's actually a lot more liberating to paint like this! You worry less about details and go more with the flow. I noticed I tend to zoom in on the picture a lot less than I'm used to.
