I'll be fleshing out the village in the upcoming few pages, so there's a lot of details involved, so sorry in advance if they take a bit longer to arrive. To make up for it, I saved up the progress shots of this page and have added them in!
I work in three phases for each page, sketching, flat layers, rendering. Sketching takes a while, because that's also where I figure out the panel and speech bubbles layout, while flat layers is what takes the less amount of time as it's where I apply the basic shapes for the background and the characters. Big pages with a lot of panels take a long time to render.
