There is some great framing on this page with the triangular panel acting as a centre piece, and visually this panel is also separating the characters in more ways than one, its a clever detail. Their expressions are very genuine as a sense of fear can be felt within this page and the idea of a giant hand just grabbing someone from the darkness is the stuff of nightmares.
