Cough up a member or else we’ll get to you when we can is a weak threat even if it’s phrased a a request. They are still sus from the thine with Feomeh and the bayou village annihilation thing. The opening of the gateway that can prevent ghouls from rising or destroy them was meteors doing in the distant past. The granting of territory for the shrine to burn the bodies also meteors decision. A cursory look on the way would have shown that meteors wall and village suffered 2 rounds of burning. And they know full well that the tattle tale went looking fro trouble to make his discovery. Not only that they name dropped a responsible party. Ronja is in a position to demand clemancy and freedom for Diarko, his mother and Kargo in addition to full ally status and support from the capital. In exchange for help taking down ranach, the capital doesn’t seem to know that killing/punishing the red wolf is a big talking point for Ranch or that Nordeguarde considers him KOS. I’m kind of curious to see what if anything has. Happened with the two bands loaners Javo, Alva galati, and Lara’s and her sons. That said with whispervale sending a message to Jahla about these rumblings of war……. It’s beginning to look like an unexpected 3way or 4 way fight will happen. Havenreach, Asmunder, Nordeguarde likely the rabisu and whispervale with the possible addition of loaners…who are much better at walking the talk ranach was talking in southspear. Ronja has now a great alliance with Fraujar and I think he also is not eager to help SS now. I really like Laminah, I really do but in this case she sounds more... well... stupid. Since Ranach is now a constant thread over her head which is for her now a life or death situation not only her but her whole tribe, she must be sweeten that deal for sure. She can't allow to have another enemy now and if Ronja don't get the deal Laminah can't even send Bounty Hunters because they're now needed at SS. Anyone killed now from SS is a big loss on them when SP are at their gate. Why not alliance with NG now? And get them to aid SS when shit goes down on their gate? Why do they have to snack away one of Ronjas best members? If I would be a bad person, I'd say it is to weaken Ronja and NG more so she can't act up against SS... Politics is all about interests and not about morals. Especially when you as a superpower realize that the whole world is starting to take moves against you. But I am optimistic that Kargo refuses the offer. The look on his face doesn't seem to happy about the offer anyway. Edit: I love how the comment section explodes after pages like these xD

I hope Kargo refuses on his own merits...and that'll be because he and the others agree together to stand firm that they're done trying to play the nice guy and let the other tribes just shit all over them every single time they've tried to do the right thing and listened to previous threats. this is yet another threat being thrown at them there are dogs out there that have repeatedly tried (and JUST tried not long ago) to force Nordgarde into extinction. nobody has done anything about it. only Whispervale offered an alliance and followed through it, so why should Nordgarde trust them now? oh, but now they'll let "bygones be bygones" if Kargo agrees to this, then everything will be gucci? I've got dyscalculia, but even I can tell that the math ain't mathing if Kargo agrees and this goes poorly, will he be blamed, considering they sought him out specifically? what would they do to him if that happens? if he gets captured or something while fighting for them, will Solar Stag do everything they can to save him, and do so with no hesitation or any hemming and hawing, or trying to claim "he knew the risks that comes with war"? 'cause I can already imagine them tossing out a line like that. primarily, you know the saying: "fool me once, shame on you, but fool me twice, shame on me!" I'm mostly concerned someone may (accidentally or on purpose?) guilt him into it or him deciding to go out of his own guilt. my fingers are crossed that Nordgarde stand together and either refuse, or negotiate better on HIS preferred terms (...of which do not include him leaving LOL listen, I just want him to be happy and not in danger, and able to just relax for...well, forever 😂) it's just bullshit to try to blackmail him and ignore WHY his identity was discovered...ya know, because Nordgarde was ambushed (and had vulnerable pups with them!!) while traveling to new territory? and not to mention why they left, which is that their homes burned down...to which they were warned to leave, so they did...and then look at what happened 😭 oh, and don't even get me started on the attack BEFORE that one, when...you know what? y'all get the picture!

2024-08-01 16:33:38 +0000 UTCWhat a pathetic offer. As others have said, SS just told on themselves, they are weak and Kargo is not a priority, so they should absolutely refuse. It would be interesting to ask for more: protection against future raiders, some cattle and immunity for Kargo, Feomeh and Dijarko. Maybe Ronja will let them know they share a goal right now in killing ranach. She could ask for SS best fighters and they go out with rogio, roamer and kargo to find and kill ranach. Things just got very very interesting. I also wonder: how does SS know all this? That it's ranach and he's gathering allies? Suspicious if you ask me. I have not forgotten they seemed to have wiped out the Rabisu tribe as well. SS should not be trusted.

2024-08-01 16:22:24 +0000 UTCSo the MT got raided by a mix of tribes (I'm still assuming that raiding is considered illegal since all the members were not wearing anything identifying where they were from, though that makes it interesting that they clearly reported Kargo to SS afterwards thus openly admitting to raiding... Though now that I type it out, not wearing identifiers could also just be to keep the MT members from knowing which groups are their enemies if they don't know any individual faces so yeah probably SS just doesn't give a shit as long as the tribes fight each OTHER and don't focus on removing them as the overall power) and in killing their attackers I'm assuming that created the 'charges' Lahmina is referring to? OR would the 'charges' that the tribe has be for harboring Kargo as a criminal? Honestly would love if this boils down to Ronja being like nah mate you want help now? You're gonna sweeten that deal. Immunity for Kargo AND his son and official protection against attacks or raiding from all of the tribes allied to SS. Especially after Ronja was gracious enough to 'gift' a portion of MT land to SS in order for remains to be burned. Like c'mon Lahmina if you're gonna be a politically-minded antagonist let's grease them wheels. Pour the honey. Make it a hard call to make with no right or wrong answer. I've got my grabby hands ready to grip me some political intrigue

They’d lose the numbers they’re trying to gain, and it’s also against Kargo’s very nature to just passively do what he’s told. What this does mean, however is a possible three-way conflict. Nordgarde, Havenreach, Whispervale, and Asmundr against Ranach’s faction as well as Solar Stag’s group. Love 👏 political 👏 intrigue 👏 like 👏 this 👏

We don't actually know if its Ninmah she is allied/loyal with, or the tribe itself. We also don't know for sure that they wanted Feomeh for help, they may still have wanted to kill her off... I will be curious to see the way things turn. Edit: Another thing that crosses my mind - Ranach would not be getting this far if he did not have ground to stand on. There is known animosity between Solar Stag and actual SPECIES, not just tribes...
