Halloween Update
Added 2020-10-06 07:13:13 +0000 UTCEvening all! I have 13 images, making up 9 pages worth of comic rendered. (out of a planned 18-20) The room I have selected for their transformations sequences to take place in is turning out to be a HUGE resource hog in DAZ3D... The pic showing our vict.... uh... protagonists entering said room took 10 hours to get to 65% done. That long per render isn't really going to work for getting the comic out for Halloween so, I've played around with a scene optimizer script that I've used on some of my big Getting into Character images. I've optimized the room and saved the file. I'm running the optimized scene again overnight to see if it is rendering any faster than it did before. If morning comes around and it's still moving really slow I'm going to have to scrap the last page I rendered and find a different room for the girls to be in. (a dorm room) I really shouldn't have any problems releasing the comic before Halloween but it been a few days since I last let you know how things are going. All I have left are the TF sequence pages. The fun part is starting! Thanks again for your support!

2020-10-06 15:23:15 +0000 UTCTry deactivating raytracing for the various surfaces of the room, or just generally lower the number of raytrace bounces the renders are attempting to calculate. It's always light bouncing between different glass/mirrored materials that causes the big render delays - I learned that years ago when a tiny transparent syringe prop filled with a reflective metal liquid almost killed my computer due to the bajillion light bounces Poser was trying to calculate.
