Stalwart's Final Battle

Here's some Pixieverse backstory!

Back when Blue Pixie first started her career, Stalwart, the most well-known hero and one of the most powerful heroes in the world fought the supervillain Brute. Brute got his name because of his brutality and violent temper. He was and still is Public enemy number one. Brute robbed the Federal Reserve in Chicago, where Stalwart was based. Stalwart and his team showed up to thwart the robbery and in order to slow the heroes down Brute brought the whole building down on top of all of them killing dozens of civilians in the process. Also killing Stalart's wife who was employed there.

Stalwart engaged the villain. The fight lasted for three days and took them from Chicago to Seattle. Even in his grief and rage Stalwart was able to steer their fight away from densely populated areas for the most part. The battle came to a climax in an abandoned industrial complex just outside of Gateway Bay.

Blue Pixie, having watched all the news footage of the titanic battle knew she was drastically outmatched but still made her way to the complex to try to help. She was too late. She got there in time to witness the two exhausted superhumans trade the final few blows of the fight and watched Stalwart succumb to his injuries. The injured Brute then lept away and hasn't been seen since.
