2021-06-16 15:09:38 +0000 UTCOver the past 20 years of getting involved in this type of stuff I don't think I've ever seen someone depict petrification statues smashed down to this sort of gravel/sand level. Broken apart - yes - but not like this. I suspect you might get some negative reactions to going THIS dark with the story, since fans of this kind of thing tend to meet in the middle between those who are more into lighter bimbofication-type scenarios and those who are into full-on mental nothingness and objectification. This is now swinging hard in the latter direction, when usually you stay on the lighter side with mannequins still being conscious and relatively intact, etc. It's a brave direction that I approve of and ultimately you're never going to please everyone at the same time. Given how dark this has become I think you'd be forgiven for using magic to eventually roll back the development, with the heroes finding a way to restore the victims, or at least some of them.

When the previous image was posted I was at first tempted to leave a comment about what they were looking at was a pile of gravel/sand made out of statues that were smashed to tiny bits and then I thought - naaah, for sure Captain would not do that, he's a nice guy, not a statue hater like me... Well... Turns out I was right - at least about the sand and rubble part =)
