Ducks Continued (and other stuff)

Good Yule, as we say here in Sweden.

I can report some minor progress on the Mutoid ducks, with humans added for scale/feel.

Also, I'm mirroring my DeviantArt stuff here since it's behind an age-check on DA so it's not really available. I don't think I posted it on my main site, but maybe twitter. It's mostly pantsu nonsense.

You're looking at the green animé type soldiers? Those are from Battalion Wars, a Gamecube game that I was involved with quite some time ago now. These drawings are new though. It is my own set of proportions that I started using in 2008, thinking it'd work (be readable) in games. Perhaps one could call it "Chibi" or "Super Deformed /SD". But over the years, those styles have changed (in image results), with the advent of collective vinyl figures and such. No doubt, there were Japanese artists doing something similar to mine in the past. I think Switch Force by WayForward uses similar proportions. I prefer doing small feet and hands. Some styles do big hands and feet, like e.g. Monster World IV.

Hello thanks for sharing, this is impressive and inspiring. I’m a huge fan of your smallest models, is there a name for this style of character (the 4 head tall).
