Dwarf Fortress Gorlak PSD
Added 2021-09-28 21:04:50 +0000 UTCI'm posting another PSD. The DF Trolls are building destroyers so that's what's going on here. I like the Gorlaks and figured they could have slightly different appearances. They're kind of like Orc-Pacmans.
The workflow is as described earlier, but here I'm using a coloured background. Sometimes white is a bit hard on the eyes and it's nice to have a base colour to build on and it adds a bit of atmosphere. I scale down to about 30-60% for the web, so my original work resolution is not that high. I'm actually on a slow 4GB machine and nearly out of main drive space so I'm keeping files small. I have files dating back to the early '90s but the space culprits are dumb old video memes and program setups which somehow gained permanent residence in various folders. Hey, there's Steve Jobs talking about Halo for the Mac!
