My friend AnimalAutumn comes in clutch again with the lines with myself as the renderer as I figure out my laptop's confusion!
It apparently thinks my tablet's a keyboard? But it's actually turned on a few times, so minor progress, maybe. Not enough to draw on, but I'm apparently getting somewhere. Still might need to buy a new laptop if this problem can't fix itself if it's more the hardware than the software, cuz even a factory reset didn't fix the issue, but I'd need to wait a bit after a growth drive or two to get a new one if it comes to that. We'll see, fingers crossed!
