April sketch requests

Okay, I'm still behind from last month but I'm going to ask for new requests now and just add them to the end of the line.  If you haven't gotten yours from last month it's still coming, but there were more actual face requests and kids last moth, which take a bit longer.  Also, my grandfather's recovery continues so I'll still be dealing with that this month as well as doctor appointments and so on.  Still, I expect to get back on track soon, and hopefully stay there for a while for a change.  I'm reposting the instructions from March so I don't have to type it all out again.  As always, your support means more to me than you can imagine.  Thank you.

I usually ask for these early in the month but I knew things were going to be crazy with my grandpa having surgery and whatnot so I waited a bit longer this time. 

Anyway, if you've made a successful pledge you can have an avatar drawing. Which can be of you, a character you like, or whatever. 

If you've already gotten one of those you can have a sketch of something, or someone, else.  One character please.  You can request something with more, but if it's too complex I may ask for you to simplify the request.  I did a few last month that didn't take too long, so it just comes down to how much extra time I have.  If you ask for something with the comic's cast it's more likely to get done because I don't need reference or anything. 

Please send any reference material I might need to betweenfailures@hotmail.com and put patreon sketch in the subject line along with your username on patreon so I can verify it.  The subject line helps me keep all the things I need to do in order.  If the sketch is on you I won't share it here unless you specifically ask for me to do so.  If the sketch is of anything related to the comic I'll share it with everyone unless you specifically tell me not to. 

I'm starting to get enough of these a month that I may have to come up with a new system for how the rewards work, but at the moment I'm more or less keeping up.  You can ask for a new sketch every month if you want to, but I will prioritize people who haven't gotten one before, then first come first serve after that.  If I don't get to them all I'll keep the unfinished requests on file and do them when I can.  If you find yourself waiting for a sketch from the month prior you can still request another. 

Patreon is still a little wonky with its messaging so I'm doing the call out for these as posts from now on. 

If you're request is something comic related I'm going to go ahead an let people ask in the comments on a trial basis, if they don't want to use email.  Since I don't need reference the email thing isn't that big a deal and I can track the requests as comments. 

I'm willing to entertain risqué requests, but will decide if I'm comfortable drawing them on an item to item basis.  I have a lot of complex feelings about the comic characters when it comes to nudity and whatnot, so we'll just have to see how I'm feeling about it as time goes by. 

Anyway, I can't think of anything else to do with sketch requests.

The next part of Julius Drywood & The Riddle Of Stone should be along by the end of the week if nothing terrible happens.  Grandpa keeps falling and hurting himself, and other little disasters, so I hope you can bear with me.  I'm feeling better generally so I've been able to work a lot faster.  Maybe I'm finally turning a corner.
