Added 2018-03-15 06:52:15 +0000 UTCI sketched a lot more than I needed for a panel. It always feels like such a waste, but you have to draw past the edges to get things right sometimes.

If you're letting us see more of Brooksie here, I think you're drawing just enough! I remember when you let us in on the fact that you always draw Alex's eyes under her hair so that you know where her point of focus is and her expression is correct, and I think that it really shows in the final work. Keep up the great work Jackie!

2018-03-16 06:16:36 +0000 UTCI have noticed that there are several competing methodologies when it comes to putting a scene together - there is this, where you sketch the majority of the figure just so that you get the subtly of line just right to convey meaning - then there is what I call the jigsaw collage where each piece is meticulous but overall everything is just wrong - then there is the "Liefeld" [nuf said - shudder]
2018-03-15 13:01:38 +0000 UTCYou want to convey how the character's mood is reflected in their pose (or vice versa, I don't know). You'll probably find it to be more common than you think (especially when that panel might be just a head shot or something...)
