Miz's Birthday

I've made a habit of doing birthday sketches for users of the Discord server.  This is one.

I'm sorry for the lack of posts here, but I spent the beter part of two days trying to make sure my patreon adheres to all of the vaguely defined community guidelines.  Since Patreon doesn't warn you till AFTER they suspend your account I thought it was worthwhile to be proactive.  Also NSFW as defined by patreon is showing skin at all.  I wouldn't call this image NSFW, but by Patreon's standards I'm not sure.  So pretty much everything I'm not 100% sure about being okay is going to be stuck behind the paywall, at least on here.  I may post some of this stuff on other social media & link it back, since that doesn't appear to be against the rules... for now.

It's stupid, this NSFW business. Facebook posts for tattoo artists who have done work on breast cancer survivors are hardly sexual, yet bring down the banhammer within a day. Meanwhile, galleries of women posing in tights and yoga pants are considered okay "because they're covered", even though you can be sure that someone somewhere posted it solely as spank material.

I've been complaining about it for years now, but no one seems to give a fuck about any of it.

The problem is that they haven't clearly defined what they consider NSFW & you aren't allowed to make any content that is NSFW public. Since I tend to share content with everyone more often it's hard to know what is okay to share & what isn't. I've had a few friends get suspended over content that I wouldn't consider NSFW, & the emails explaining the suspension is vague as fuck. They use words like PROBABLY to describe what MIGHT have caused the suspension. Which is a big problem.

do they not let you post NSFW stuff, i have other Patreon artist that post it all the time. compared to them, you've always been PG/G

It's interesting how we're at a nexus between the right of private corporations to do what they want and the fact that their services pretty much operate as public resources, lending great potential for abuse. Curious how it'll all shake out.
