Patreon membership changes.
Added 2018-10-26 00:58:41 +0000 UTCI just got an email from Patreon about some new options/changes they are adding for the posts here that might affect who receives content. I'm not sure if it will have any effect on you guys since I think I set my tiers so that everyone who pledges a dollar always gets to the posts. Since that's the base level it should be available to everyone. Just to be sure though here's a link so you can review your settings https://www.patreon.com/pledges If you set your pledge to no reward it might keep you from seeing posts. I don't think it will, but just in case there's the way to fix it. I think as long as I select the all patrons option from now on it shouldn't be an issue. I don't think anyone is pledging under a dollar anymore. Anyway, they went to the trouble of actually emailing creators about stuff in advance of actually doing it for a change, so that's good.

This might seem kind of surprising, but I actually prefer this model. There's a certain web comic that I would like to contribute more than the minimum pledge. However, it has content that I do not want to see accessible to anyone who is paying an amount less than what I want to be paying per month. I didn't complain to anyone about this, but letting someone choose their tier and then offer more money like the interface claims is, IMHO, only allowing what the interface was already promising.
