Added 2024-09-01 10:12:18 +0000 UTCI have been sort of writing the story of the tabletop game that Ed, Mike, Jess, and Jo are playing for future comics. Which makes me want to draw them in new gear as they do cool things that most likely will never bee seen. Giving Lann progressively more elaborate clothes, but especially the hat, is something I very much want to do because i love drawing that fucking style of hat. August was a brutal month so none of the other stuff to do with this made it to a presentable state. Frankly I'm glad I just didn't have to bury any more family members. God willing that can continue being a thing for a while. It would be a nice change of pace.

It reminds me a bit of when Jess and Jo were in the field that time and Jess had that oversized hat on. I like that even in make believe, Jess and Ed influence each other in interesting and unexpected ways
