Minecraft 1.21.3
A lot has happened since the Jaw reveal! I wanted to thank everyone who has recently subscribed to support the project. Today, I’m bringing an update I’ve been wanting to try since Doctor X joined the team… a revamp of some old, clunky animations!
Over the past few weeks, I’ve been focusing on fixing most of the known bugs that came with the port to 1.21.3. I’m happy to report that, at least when it comes to shifters, they’re in a much better spot now. Not only that, but all of them have now been introduced to the new cooldown system, which adds an extra layer to the balance of titan combat!
I actually took advantage of this and committed to a small revisit of Attack and Armored. There are some gameplay changes in both, though they’re much more noticeable on Armored thanks to its new animations!
I’ll leave you with some of the bug fixes I’ve managed to address. For now, I want to continue working on adjusting these values. With the addition of cooldowns, I’m planning to increase the overall damage of all shifters since they can’t spam strong attacks anymore.
Changes:
Tweaked climb detection for Jaw to prevent climbing unintended areas (plains, slopes, etc.).
Fixed ODM not changing model. Fixed Jaw Titan flying.
Fixed Jaw Titan advancement.
Fixed Cart Titan Predator's Hold.
Fixed Cart Titan Utility Mode.
Fixed Cart Titan not being able to consume shifters.
Fixed shifters’ floating heads after dismounting or consuming another shifter (Jaw and Cart).
Modified block tag snc:tangible to exclude grass and ferns to prevent clipping with the new motion system.
New texture for Jaw Titan.
Attack Titan fully ported to 1.21.3.
Beast Titan fully ported to 1.21.3.
Armored Titan ported to 1.21.3.
Colossal Titan ported to 1.21.3.
New cooldown system added to all shifters.
Performance improvements added to all shifters. Fixed critical performance issues related to Cart and Armored.
Generalized floor detection for all shifters.
Added: Cart Titan turrets' recoil effect.
Added: Cart Titan turrets' landing effects.
Added: Armor Roar animation.
Added: Config to enable/disable fire spread.
Added: Griefing for all titan shifters! (Requires balance.)
Fixed: Colossal Titan, all shifters working!
Fixed: Flying titan shifters. Fixed: Born-as-shifter displaying "shifter hearts" before reveal. Fixed: Trigger transform not working properly on titan shifters.
Fixed: Advancement item models.
Fixed: Guns (requires balance).
