By the way, are you also interested in watching Queendom 2? That show also was really good and very touching (I don't think I’ve ever been so emotional in my life while watching that). The participating groups/solo artist is/are: Kep1er LOONA WJSN VIVIZ BRAVE GIRLS HYOLYN Maybe you have some time when Stray Kids’ survival show ends. What connects these groups (and why I was kinda emotional about it) is that either the groups had lost members, are previously disbanded, didn’t get recognition or where mistreated. So I figured it would be nice to give them a chance as well. Knowing you from previous reactions, you will probably enjoy the show very much.

Despite being a vocal/ballad heavy group, they have two rappers: Minhyuk (HUTA) and Peniel (pronounced Pen-NEEL). Two very distinct styles, Minhyuk is also one of their main producers. To make up for the two missing main/lead vocals, he sang alot more for this show. He's so good at everything, even dancing! They DO dance, btw 😆 They're a six member group. Sungjae and Hyunsik, the maknaes, were finishing their military duties at this time. Hyunsik will probably surprise you the most if you watch more of their stuff, he's a main vocal next to Eunkwang and he is POWERFUL. A genius songwriter and producer, too. Peniel and Bang Chan are old friends! They were trainees together at JYPE until Peniel left and debuted with BTOB under CUBE. (Peniel is close to many of the foreign trainees that were at JYPE, especially GOT7) Peniel is also one of the hosts at DIVE Studios, so yes, he's in plenty of clips online. BTOB recently released a song Tang Tang Tang from their new subunit, 90Tan (the 90 liners, Eunkwang and Minhyuk, seen here lol). It's really fun, please check it out! BTOB are well known for being really, really loud and chaotic. Beautiful ballads and restrained stage personas but strong, silly personalities off stage. They are ridiculous, lmao. ANYWAYS, I'm so sorry for going off on a tangent about them, I've only recently started getting into them and am in LOVE (honeymoon stage of getting to know a group). Looking forward to this series, I hope you have fun with it! ❤️

2024-08-21 06:15:25 +0000 UTCoh yes, time for Kingdom Legendary War! I always fall for groups on these kind of shows so on this one I fell hard for iKON and SF9. I binge watched all iKON and SF9 content while and after watching the show! SF9 had a comeback yesterday btw... they are on their 13th mini album releasing dance floor bangers every year. You cannot go wrong with SF9! TVXQ is still going, but only with 2 members. If you havnt listened to any of their songs I would recommend you do so. They have produced some athems (remember Peak Time? Mirotic? And RTK TOO cover Rising Sun? Yep thats TVXQ!) Anyway great to have another show to watch with you. Looking forward to the next episodes!

2024-08-20 15:34:27 +0000 UTCA quick note about Peniel, with BtoB, and his hair. He keeps it shaved mostly due a condition he has that creates bald spots on his scalp. He is from the US, Chicago, and is quite "zen" so the lack of hair has become part of his style.

(Edit: Patreon refreshed and ate my comment so let's try this again.) Some of your questions were already answered, but here is the lineup in order of debut and with the age ranges for fun. BTOB is a 6 member group (formerly 7), who debuted in March of 2012. Eunkwang is both their leader and eldest member (1990) and Sungjae is the maknae (1995.) Ikon debuted in September of 2015. Jay (1994) being their oldest member and Chan (1998) being the maknae. SF9 debuted in October of 2016. (Fun fact, they're 5 days older than Pentagon.) Inseong (1993) being their eldest member and Chani (2000) being the maknae. Taeyang, however, is not the leader. That would be Youngbin. XD The Boyz debuted in December of 2017. Sangyeon (1996) being their eldest member and Kevin (2000) being their maknae. Stray Kids debuted in March of 2018. Bang Chan (1997) being their eldest member and I.N (2001) being their maknae. Ateez debuted in October of 2018. Seonghwa (1998) being their eldest member and Jongho (2000) being their maknae. So, while Ateez are not the youngest in terms of age, they are the newest group when it comes to debut timeline. Having only been around for 3ish years when Kingdom LW was filmed. Which would have been 2021. Ngl, everyone looks so young in the show. It's a little off-putting. I also saw the Teezers in concert recently and mentally comparing /that/ to how they look here? Like wow, they grew up well. XD I don't really keep up with TVXQ, but they did have a comeback recently (12/2023) so they're still kicking. Considering that they've been around since 2003, it's not surprising that they've slowed down some though. As for what my favorite performance was, it's always so hard to pick but Beautiful Pain is one of my favorite kpop songs and it hits me right in the feels every time I hear it. But I also really liked Ateez' hollywoodesque version of Wave. Thank you for watching KLW, looking forward to the rest!

I.N. is actually the youngest in the whole competition. They are saying the youngest in debut order/ experience. Everyone is a sunbae to them. Not necessarily a hyung, but a sunbae. BTOB is the oldest in debut order and VERY respected. Not wildly known outside Korea, but very big in Korea. I believe the first performances were taped. Released at the same time on YouTube with voting active. Voting went for 4 days. I actually did not know about it while it was airing but soon after, so others can correct me if I’m wrong. On BTOB, there are actually 6 members, 2 were in the military at time of this filming. You will notice the number goes down to 3 for a few episodes. One of the members fell ill and had to take a short break. Speaking of missing people. Mingi was taking a personal hiatus at this time. He will not be in the show, but Ateez celebrated him constantly with “8 makes 1 team”. This is, sadly, the only episode Hyunjin will be in. Some horrible individuals who think destroying someone’s life is cool for no reason besides jealousy and self hatred spread rumors that required him to be pulled from the show while it was investigated. That’s why he had no speaking time in this episode and was cut out as much as they could without taking away from the performance. This nonsense blew up between taping for episode 1 and 2. The only regret I have with this show is having him not here by choice outside his control. We all lost there. A few episodes in, you will see the MCs go to just 1. As this was during COVID, there were some very strict rules regarding conduct. Unfortunately, Yunho got caught not adhering to the contract rules and was removed so Changmin closed it out on his own. I don’t know a ton about TVXQ, but I do think they are still active. I really think I saw them as part of a lineup for concert recently. I love this whole show and all the groups. Personally, I am most thankful for BTOB being in this. They are SO funny. They made this such a healing show with the addition of their personalities alone. It would have been a very different feeling show without them. This show was needed in the middle of a 2 year entertainment lock down. Thanks for watching 🙂.
