So much drama in this episode!! Highlight for me was NTX getting a chance with the judges. My other fav boys 24K unfortunately had to leave but I thought it was such a great gesture of the show to give those groups the songs, outfits and choreos.

That is a very dark page in their career because TS entertaiment is famously known for abusing their idols. Also this wasn't shown in this episode but Independant team member Kim Hyunjae "left" the show because he was suspected to be a bully in high school.

2024-03-31 15:17:07 +0000 UTCPausing it right at the beginning to say that the songs for New Song Match are all ORIGINAL songs written for the show! The show got many songs written by veteran producers/writers and then they were blind-tested and voted on until they got the selection seen on the show. All of these songs were performed for the first time on Peak Time, even the ones that weren't broadcast bc they were eliminated, the producers were nice enough to upload the rehearsals on YouTube and studio versions of all the songs are available on Spotify etc. Edit 1: In regards to the passage of time, Peak Time was filmed over a period of several months, I think like half a year? So the groups would have time to practice and train between filming and they could keep up with their group/company activities outside of Peak Time.
