Surge 2 Review Update o'Clock

Howdy, just got done with some work on the video and thought I'd chuck a little update out there since it's been a minute.

Right now I'm working on structure of the video. I already have the framing device entirely figured out and I think it's one of my best yet, which helps but also makes it a bit trickier in some ways. I've got it just about sorted, and once I'm confident in that I can easily slot in all the little bits and pieces that I've been writing and order them so that they flow together and build off each other naturally, and with this video being a lot simpler (one game rather than 11) that sort of thing is gonna take a lot less time since I'll feel less pressured to condense it to the same stupid degree.

I've got a solid amount of jokes and critiques down into words in the actual script and a whole lot more that are still kicking around in my head while I figure out how best to put them in, those usually come together easier once structuring is entirely figured out so I'll have that done pretty quickly once I've got that sorted (especially compared to the 2017 video).

Also this is just a minor thing, but for those of you who don't know (which I'm assuming is most of you) I actually moved halfway across the country this year RIGHT before COVID lockdown stuff happened, and the reason for that was because I wanted to live near friends I could go out and do shit with to improve my mental health.

Well, that hasn't exactly happened. Instead I moved 15 hours away from my family so that I could sit alone in my apartment and very occasionally go hang out at my neighbor's place to watch movies and bad YouTube videos. Unsurprisingly, this hasn't been amazing for my mental health or creative drive, but I'm still pushing through it because I want to have this video done MUCH faster than the last one for you guys. Your support means the world to me, especially in this time and I just wanted to say thank you.
