2024-12-02 17:55:27 +0000 UTCThe saddest thing about BAE173 sadly boils down to their extremely horrendous and incompetent company. It's notable that it went extremely downhill since BAE173 ex-member, Dohyon went on hiatus due to long covid symptoms in Oct 2022. Despite being on hiatus, the company still sent him to a fansigns with Hangyul (cause they used to be a duo unit before BAE173 cause they were ex-X1 members). After which, the company sent BAE173 on PEAKTIME. Dohyon wanted to file an injunction to terminate his contract but didnt do it cause the other members were going on PEAKTIME and he didnt wanna affect them so he did it after PEAKTIME. After PEAKTIME, BAE173 gained a lot of popularity. Sadly, with Dohyon leaving (he was one of the main producer/composers for the group), I don't think their company invested much for getting songs for the group which did not capitalise on their fame after PEAKTIME. They only got a comeback almost 1 year after PEAKTIME ended which made them lose most of the momentum/attention they got from PEAKTIME. BAE173 going on both Starlight Boys/Project 7 seems like a last attempt to try to put their group on the map, or just having a second chance at a new group cause their company is not doing them any favors.
