The war with the empire is still going on. Takasa mentioned this way earlier when talking with Fina about him getting married to an Mbala lioness and Ndona is protecting Mbala from the Empire. Javed is still alive as far as we're aware and searching for Dani, but who knows what he thinks the fate of the cubs were. Javed is still the Emperor, as he holds the same amount of power as Dani did when she was Empress, so more than likely he's still in charge while the search for Dani continues. The girls know of Damu, but its not known how much they know about the whole situation.

I can't remember, but is the war with the empire going on? At this current timing... I was just thinking if Dani's ex arsehole is still alive, would he recognise some of the scent in the 2 sisters or not.... I wonder if they would meet him, that would be so cool, I can't see how the that would happen currently, but it would be awesome, but also slightly awesome to see their reactions if they knew who he was, and what he did to their father and mother .. Also is her ex still alive? Or is that a spoiler for this comic or the other... Or both? seeing that its very big time gaps.. I wonder who would be next inline if he died... Because Dani has the rightful bloodline... If that's a non spoiler question, who would be next in line? If he died/eventually died of the eye injury? Also does the 2 girls eventually know of the biggest arsehole, or learn of him and his "missing empresses"? And maybe click that their mother could've been the missing empress.... Sorry with all the questions, I just generally read the updated pages, never think of a question, then when I'm reassessing suddenly several questions come and once... Doesn't help I'm mostly bed bound due to a spinal operation last week, so a lot of thinking time...

Aaaaaaand it all comes together. The high and mighty attitude is a cover for some pretty major insecurity she's got going on. It makes sense though; how many times have we felt ostracized for things we like? I mean even in my own family I'm the movie nut and no one else really is, so I have no one to talk to about what films I see. Kinda sucks really.
