I'm really big on being polite and am pretty non-confrontational but I tend to have strong opinions, which I think are sometimes hard to express via text. I didn't want to offend you two as I really do love your channel and (obviously) want to support the two of you! It's actually quite fun to have started watching you guys start out this little project as a sort of experiment and see it grow so big in just a year. And not to be mushy or cringey I felt inspired by the two of you for jumping into this type of work as I've been struggling with taking the steps to pursue my passions in the liberal arts myself. Especially since the job market around the world for millenials is unclear. I initially found the two of you very relateable and that's what got me hooked!

2017-10-30 21:21:02 +0000 UTCWe did not feel offended in anyway, no worries Kimber. And we agree there are too many Hallyu channels that just post Kpop related stuff to get views. Lately we feel our channel has been very slowly turning into such a channel, and we felt the need to steer the ship on its right path again. We want everything to be real, and more importantly I want everyone to know the real. Korea isn't just about Kpop and dramas, and we wish to do more than just scratch the surface. Show what real people live and how they think. To be frank we are a little disappointed in ourselves of having lost some of the journalistic features, and that's why we decided to reassess ourselves at this point. With our new segment(name to be determined), we'll be free to cover and do whatever, so we're looking to use this to nudge us into the mindset that we had in the beginning. Anyway, thanks for the very constructive feedback. Criticism is extremely helpful in finding our way as creators. Thank you :)

2017-10-30 19:33:51 +0000 UTCbtw guys when you were discussing phase 2 and asking our opinions I just wanted to clarify that what I was trying to say in regards to the whole kpop thing was that there are a lot of channels on YouTube that focus specifically on that because of how big the Hallyu wave has gotten and that in general YouTube tends to be focused on celebs and superficial trends (like all of those buzzfeed type of channels that now dominate) and I really liked the raw feeling of some of your earlier content starting with scv. I feel like a lot of other channels now focus on kpop idols or how (x nationality) reacts to (x popular trend) which can be fun to watch sometimes but YouTube is ultimately saturated with it I realized I might have come off kind of rude during the live?? But I love the growth of your channel and am excited to see where you guys take it!! (Also Danny's livestream of the protests is forever legendary) And honestly if there's a video with David and Danny Kim of dkdktv I'll always click lol
