(Early Access) My Seoul Apartment Tour

Can I just say NO way I would want to move into a place I had to clean. Here in the states, the the person renting out the apartment/house has to make sure it is clean and up to codes. When a tenant moves out, the owner has to replace all carpets, and repaint by law in my state. You can actually cancel a lease if it isn't clean when you move in, ha! I guess I won't be moving to Korea anytime soon.

Yeah, the higher the deposit the lower the rent. 10k is pretty standard, and a lot of people pay higher deposits up to 30k~40k too!

It is a bit expensive place compared to the rest of the places in seoul, though not by much. I guess that means with my money I could potentially live in the US? lol

Your place looks awesome! I agree with David and Lauren on the table in the middle. If you need to have a table in the middle, maybe get a glass table so it feels more open. I have had that same bookshelf and Tupperware with the green lids - the global power of IKEA. We used to live very far from the CBD in the suburbs where not much was happening and when we moved to a suburb which was 15 min train ride from everything and had cafes etc, we became much happier. The novelty hasn't worn off after 3 years! So I think this is a fantastic move and I'm very happy for you!

I like the fact that the table is in the middle. I would lay out all my projects on there for visualisation or use it to sit face to face with people.

I love the 3 minute swearing part that was funny. I think the space is good for 1 person and the rent pretty much is not bad compared to the US. I think it’s good the way your thought process was about moving out and I’m sure you’ll make so many great videos for us.

A) the 3 minute "fuck" had the same energy as that one episode of family guy where peter hurt his knee. B) You should definitely fin another alternative for the desk in the center. at least a slimmer and shorter option. C) I'm glad you bought your own dishes and didn't steal your moms.
