Pentagon / EXO-SC / Baekhyun / Heize [Patreon Reaction]

LOVE the Baekhyun song. I've never dived into him but I'm loving his Dean vibes. I just saw Heize perform in Brooklyn. Her voice and visuals were pure silk; her new soul/r&b music and this mv is what i would call my house of theory. all about it.

Thanks for your reactions to these songs! Pentagon was ok and cute, not something I'd listen to. But if you saw a lot of cultural references, then Yes do an Explained video for it. Might change my mind about the song. The EXO-SC song/vid ... I love EXO but I feel that vid is targeted toward Western hiphop audience with the elementary moves, flexing lyrics that have the "I'm the shit and let's party" vibe, lol. (reason why I don't listen to most American hiphop artists). The Baekyun mv tho....well, well, well! I always knew he could sing and he's so cute :) At the 13:01 timestamp of your video, I had to pause it because for just a moment he looked just like V! Caught me off guard a bit, lol. As for the Heize video, I liked the metaphor of the skeleton to represent a realationship with someone who is there physically, but not really there for you emotionally. I thought it was beautifully done, and I especially liked the piano outro. Great job as always! Hang in there, your channel will survive and grow again. Especially if you continue to produce and post your DKDK News and Explained videos along with any of the other good content ideas the two of you have had. Fighting! ;)

Thanks for being honest about your opinion on the EXO-SC song. I wasn't a fan of it either, but I suggested it to see how other ppl were feeling. The whole Baekhyun City Lights album is pretty great btw. You should give it a listen. I really love Diamond and Stay Up.

I agree with your order of the songs. I've never really listened to any other K-pop other than BTS but I did listen to We Don't Talk Together about a week ago and I thought it was just ok. BTW, "we don't talk together" is not something normally said in English. We'd be more likely to say "we don't talk anymore" but I guess that wouldn't fit the melody.

I was surprised by your Pentagon reaction. it was an ok song. I agree with you on the EXO song. Maybe it's because i had just listened to Tempo when it came on but i was a bit underwhelmed. I love Dean too!!! i agree Baekhyun's song totally had those types of vibes. a collab between those two would be amazing. Side note - will you be dying your hair again?? i say now is the chance to go platinum blonde - it would be super hot!! hope you are able to get over the jet lag soon.
