I struggle with losing weight as well. It’s not that hard working out but just being consistent. I’ve been overweight most of my life but it’s never been a hindrance like it has lately. I’m literally out of breath just from walking from my house to the bus stop up the street. I’ve been saying that I need to work out again. I actually did it for a few weeks once and there was an overall difference in comfort just doing everyday tasks. It improved my mood as well (depression). Unfortunately I fell off the wagon and never got back but I wanna get back to it. I’m rooting for you, David! I won’t even give my suggestion for what k-pop album to buy because I’ll just have faith that you can do it. I feel like at some point people just get tired of something and change because they’ve had enough. You might be at that point so I hope that you can push through it this time. I may even join you in this journey (challenge?) since I had already planned to buy an exercise bike when I get paid tomorrow. Anyway, good luck! Hope to see you down to your goal weight in December.

I’m not on a diet myself but I have been taking steps to be sort of healthier. i.e. reducing my sugar intake, stopped spending money on takeout that is not healthy, drinking more water etc. I think you are doing great so far. Excluding your sleeping habits lol but that can’t be helped cause you’re a youtuber and work odd hours. **Just leave the sparta diet when this over

Hi David. I definitely rather for you to reach your goal than to get $2000 worth of albums (I'll take G-Dragon solo and Big Bang working backwards). If it's not too late, I suggest you revise your goal to either reduce the weight you need to lose or lenghten the time beyond December 2. It seemed like you and Danny set your goal really arbitrarily without really thinking it through. I don't think your goal is realistic or healthy. In the US, the recommended weight-loss plan is 1-2 pounds per week. Your goal is to loose 2.5 pounds per week. There might be different suggested weight loss recommendations in Korea, so I would check on that. I think you need at least 3 months to meet your goal weight. +++++ Suggestions: 1) I wouldn't eat Subway sandwiches - they are mostly bread and really not that healthy; 2) Park far away from the door so you have to walk even if just a bit (do you drive?), use stairs instead of elevators, find ways like that to move around more all day long; 3) Do your exercise first thing in the morning - you will burn more calories for the rest of the day; 4) focus on protein and fiber (lots of vegetables) and stay away from carbs and sugar; 5) Look up Intermittant Fasting - NOT fasting - eat only within a short frame of hours each day, like between 12 and 6, works great for me and my mom, just takes a short while to get used to it; 6) Lots of water all day long; 7) Exercise at least 40 minutes 5 days per week. That's a lot!!! +++++ I think your ideal types are TOO ideal - isn't that why they are called "idols" in the first place? Their job is to dance and exercise all day (and look good). Watching some of the live performance videos of BTS on their current tour, I can't believe what they do for 2 hours and then do it again the next day, too. IDOL, Fire, Not Today? And they work out on top of that, even during the tour. Think of how young BTS members were when they debuted in 2013, and they started training long before that. They were so young when they started dancing and working out full-time - Jungkook was a kid and that makes a difference. I know I'm in the minority, but I'm not even a fan of Jungkook's build - it's too much. +++++ Please re-think your goal. Everyone wants you to succeed. Good for you for wanting to get healthy and best of luck!

For someone to look like Danny’s ideal type, they have to spend many, many hours in the gym, and I’m attracted to people who are more interesting than that. So, my vote is definitely for David’s goal. As for albums, I don’t want to win but if I do, then I want all BTS albums. I only have the online music, and 2 of the physical albums.

1. Plank - start with 10 sec up to 2 min 2. Early morning with warm water salt and one lemon .. warm water every time throughout the day.. it’s almost fall in Seoul wouldn’t be tough 3. Add flaxseed Chiaseed sunflower seed to your meal 4. Sun salutations (12 if you can) These really helped me with inch loss Coz I couldn’t afford a gym or trainer .. also I started running 5kms everyday

David first off .. yeaaay that’s a big step :) all the best .. and second off please keep it realistic and don’t push yourself too much because it has to be a lifestyle or else it’ll be back again very soon .. since you have cute face don’t beef up please keep it lean muscle 🙃 GD and Jungkook definitely doable 😛 or you can just follow Danny 😉 but don’t lose the adorable face .. face chubs are cute 🙌🏼 go kill it :)
