Fund Drive Complete!
Added 2015-10-20 07:39:28 +0000 UTCExcuse the slightly blurry screenshot; Patreon does insist on blowing things up somewhat. The main thing is: the fund drive is over, and not only did we meet our initial $18,000 goal, but we reached all three of our stretch goals and then some.
So from January 1 2016, pay for poetry goes up to $40, pay for columns goes up to $50, and pay for articles goes up to $80. And there's a bit left over to go into the fiction budget and special projects.
A huge part of this year's success is down to your support here -- thank you! When the fund drive started, as I said at the time, I thought 100 Patreon supporters would be a decent return. Instead we have 210.
A few admin notes: I've removed the note about the fund drive from the main page, and amended the tier rewards as well -- all of you are in the prize draw and will get the 15th anniversary ebook, but new donors from this point won't. (The ebook will be out in a couple of days, the prize draw will take a couple of weeks because we do it in batches -- keep an eye on your emails.) Also, increasing our pay rates increases our future budget, so the "sustainable SH" goal has gone up a bit; also to better account for the cost of rewards, now that we know how many we're talking about for the first year.
On rewards: the tiers are set for "after a year of support", but I imagine we'll start sorting those out next summer (wouldn't want to be doing it actually during next year's fund drive), and hopefully sharing some designs with you sooner than that.
