New issue! Killjoy, Porto, Phillips

Evening all --

Something of an update-on-the-run this week, since I'm currently travelling for day-job-related reasons. But we have a new issue, and it contains good things! Specifically it contains Margaret Killjoy's story "The Name of the Forest" (with art by Luke Spooner, as showcased above), Matthew Porto's poem "The Elder", Andrea Phillips' column explaining why "Video Games are the Best Art", and reviews by Martin Petto, Christina Scholz, and Nino Cipri, of books by Philip Reeve and China Mieville, and The Black Tapes podcast. Go, explore, enjoy!

On the news front: the British Eastercon programme is now live, so for the benefit of anyone attending I can provide an actual link to the details of the tea party -- Sunday afternoon, in the Presidential Suite, do come along. I can eat a lot of biscuits, but not quite as many as we have ordered.

On another news front: did you know we're in the process of having our website redesigned? It's true! It is really happening! And we are at the stage of considering potential new logos, which has led to an important question: on a scale of 1 to 10, how discombobulated and/or outraged would you be if our new logo did not involve a planet? Answers on a postcard, or failing that in comments.

Let us know what you think; and then I'll be back next week with our March ebook.

Thanks! I'm loathe to give timelines, but I'm hoping to have something more concrete to share with you all here before too long. -- Niall

Yes, it's not ideal scheduling, and I can't begrudge anyone who goes to Aliette's talk! Unfortunately that wasn't within our control. I console myself with the thought that almost any slot would have had a clash of some kind ... -- Niall

Sadly, the tea party appears to be clashing with the Aliette de Bodard guest of honour speech - which seems an odd thing to do to me. So I'm deeply torn, and probably won't make the tea party.

Not at all discombobulated. Looking forward to seeing the new website.
