A new fiction editor

You heard it here first (just)! You've read his reviews and his fiction, but very soon you'll be reading stories he's helped to choose instead: Vajra Chandrasekera is joining Lila Garrott, Catherine Krahe and An Owomoyela as part of our fiction editing team.
There are a few reasons we've invited Vajra on board, but foremost among them are the fact that a) Vajra is brilliant, and b) for various real-life reasons, over the course of this year it's become clear that we needed an extra pair of hands in the fiction department. This should mean that we'll do better at keeping on top of fiction submissions than we have been, and it will hopefully also mean that if one of the other editors needs a break, they can take it without being worried about disrupting the magazine.
So there you go. Breaking SH news! And now I'm off to inform the good people of Facebook and Twitter.
