2025-09-30 06:38:50 +0000 UTCwho put a godzilla in my slice of life period war drama π jokes aside, after years of the american style "big monkey vs lizard" movies, this made me realize how godzilla started as a metaphor for nuclear weapons. seems obvious but i never put two and two together lol. love that minus one brought the character back to its roots!

2025-09-29 08:46:24 +0000 UTCNow yaβll see the difference between the two Godzilla versions, in the Monsterverse heβs more friendly, fighting evil monsters and making friends with kids, but in Minus One he ainβt friendly and itβs more of a horror movie where the humans are trying figure out how to kill him. The classic movies were more like this. I donβt know why the Japanese called this Minus One but Iβm guessing this is a prequel since it took place in the 40s, their next movie might take place in Modern Day Japan. π€π¦
