How to Sculpt Fur

That video is EXCELLENT. 2 minutes, and very clear.
The only thing I do different is that I DO use alphas. I use a "rake" alpha. Then use the move brush to add some depth and waves. That's how I did this wolf!
So, I made the wolf body first. Then sculpted on muscles. Finally, I appended a cube and flattened it into a panel. I sculpted the fur onto that, and then fit it onto the body. Now I had a fur panel. I duplicated it, and kept moving it around. I did my best to use the move brush to keep moving it around so it didn't look repetitive.
I even used that panel on the tail. That was stupid haha Don't do that. Just make a different panel if the shape is way different. If you are fighting the mesh, just try a different method haha
