New Focus

TL;DR
I am going to focus on making models exclusively for Patreon, chosen by you guys. So, what would you like?
I'll start with the models with the most votes, but I want to get to all of them. I also think it would be super cool if this community made up their own custom creature that I could create? Lots of possibilities~
I'm a mechanical engineering student, and somehow still on track to graduate in 4 years. So next semester, around May 20th I will have a B.S. in ME. Pretty cool, no?
Well, this whole art thing is also really cool. My initial goal for this was $100 a month. That would buy all of the filament in the world in my eyes haha
That was mid-August, now I'm at over $400 a month with 2 printers and a co-artist! Believe it or not, that covers all of my bills for the month. (Granted, I don't pay for my health insurance yet as I'm 21, and I have 3 roommates. But still!) It has been so much fun.
I usually brought in most of my money through commissions, and then shared that commission work here. I think my commission work mainly why I've grown as an artist. My clients have pushed me to make the best work I can, and that has been everything. I still plan to do maybe 1 or 2 commissions a month, but now I want to focus on my Patrons and grow this community as much as I can.
Currently, I fully intend to get that full-time job as an engineer. But, who knows? In another 5 months or so I'm curious to see where this will go and I'm more than willing to put in the work.
To add to this I will be making dioramas with Nick Wood. I will be making the minis, and he makes the awesome terrain. Collectively there should be some pretty awesome stuff to keep your printers busy!
Thanks for all of your support.

2018-12-05 20:40:06 +0000 UTCAw thank you! I absolutely love how dynamic mounted minis can be! And elves are my favorite, so consider it done! :D

2018-12-05 15:34:07 +0000 UTCCongratulations on your personal growth and achievements! With such an attitude you can go very far. :) I would love to see an Elven Lancer / Rider mini. There are so many of them on foot around the net, but not a single detailed mounted one.

2018-12-05 01:19:42 +0000 UTCYou could inspire yourself from those <a href="https://www.games-workshop.com/en-CA/Space-Wolves-Fenrisian-Wolf-Pack-2017" rel="nofollow noopener" target="_blank">https://www.games-workshop.com/en-CA/Space-Wolves-Fenrisian-Wolf-Pack-2017</a> ... ;)

2018-12-05 01:18:31 +0000 UTCYeah $100 is absurd haha I only have 1 wolf so far in a lunging sort of position. What other poses would you like? Maybe two variations of learning down/snarling, one neutral "happy" wolf, and one sleeping one?
M3DM
2018-12-05 00:11:04 +0000 UTCPlain good looking direwolf with 3 or 4 different poses. Oddly enough, NOBODY seems to make any of those and I refuse to pay 100$ to GW for a full pack of plain wolves

2018-12-04 23:29:32 +0000 UTCWoo! And thanks :D I will keep that in mind. If I don't merge it all together, then you may be able to separate the shells in MeshMixer and pose them! Modeling is so fun. If you have any time I recommend it.

2018-12-04 23:29:26 +0000 UTCCongratulations! Always great to see more MechEs! It's a great degree that you can go so many places with. And its great that you were able to turn your hobby into something that that you are able to share with others and make a bit! As for models, I always like some with parts so I can pose them in something easy like mixmesher. Maybe after my apps are out I'll get to learning a decent modeling program.
2018-12-04 23:27:22 +0000 UTCElementals. Desperatly need good elementals ;)

2018-12-04 23:19:33 +0000 UTCI'm making a Kenku right now! Should be finished tomorrow actually :D I remember seeing a really cool Triton berserker... I may do a remix of that!
M3DM
2018-12-04 22:50:01 +0000 UTCOf course do whatever you'd like but I'd love some of the fringe races that hardly have any models made at all. Still searching for a Triton mini. And kenkus are slim pickins. Thank you for your hard work!

2018-12-04 22:45:58 +0000 UTCYuan-Ti. I've just been talked into running the Tomb of Annihilation and with a jungle theme there has got to be some snake people.

2018-12-04 22:45:27 +0000 UTCboneclaw please :P also, some mix-and-match minis would be cool. for example, you could do skeletons that have separately printable arms in various poses that can hold weapons, and then several weapons that fit. then we could print out the arm poses, bodies, and weapons we want and glue them together skeletons are just an example, it could be done with anything
2018-12-04 22:40:42 +0000 UTCAs far as your path goes ...I say do what your soul wants ..
