I'm in a stretch here where I can't share previews of what I'm working on. In fact, right now I'm not sure how much left there is of Episode Four I can share with you.
I am pretty stingy when it comes to previews. My preference as a consumer is to avoid anything that could be even a slight spoiler for a story, and I bring that preference to my work as a dev. Even stuff that many people wouldn't consider "spoilers" I think not knowing will make for a more enjoyable playthrough.
For example, "Luke, I am your father," is definitely a spoiler. Han, Chewie, Leia, and the Droids flying in the Millennium Falcon isn't a spoiler, and I would share it because there's really nothing being revealed about the story. Vader being at the dinner table in Cloud City probably isn't technically a spoiler, but I wouldn't share it because it feels like something that is better to experience while watching the movie. Vader fighting Luke, again, probably not a spoiler because most people are expecting it, but I still wouldn't share it. So yeah, I'm stingy.
I've said before I may not be able to share any previews for the entirety of Episodes Six through Eight, so it's possible I may reevaluate my approach to Patreon/SubscribeStar during that development time. We'll see.
In the meantime, I'm working on the update, but there's still lots and lots of work to be done.

2024-06-23 15:26:14 +0000 UTCI always avoid spoilers any way I can 😎. I never open them on Discord and avoid any Chanel's that even have them if possible. I am grateful you feel the same way. I know there is a need to show content for new subscribers but at this point there is plenty of older content to attract anyone even slightly interested 🙂.

I'm very impressed and highly intrigued by what you've already done, and I really really want to see how things continue. Previews cannot increase that, but they can anticipate things and, at worst, diminish the experience during the game by reducing surprise and impact. I too rather have no previews at all than anything in spoiler territory. Personally, I don't mind if there will be no previews for the entirety of episodes six through eight. But I also understand that spoilers are made for a very good reason, they simply work very well on average in the battle for attention. If someone doesn't want to see spoilers, it's not difficult to stay away from them.
