My heart broke for you guys with the scene of Sam and Emma, I know you guys were rooting hard for them and Hannah, you love Love. Ash, I knew you’d be so happy when Cate’s arm was blown off, I’m sure it was a shared cherry on top for the episode along with Homelander and Butcher’s cameos. What’s really awesome about Gen V, I find, is we’re getting the perspective from characters that are not in the “know” of what’s really going on; they’re kids after all. Obviously the characters from the boys do; but they don’t. Now they see where they thought ratings matter, their goals and ambition for being at the top leads to greatness is nothing but an a corrupted system and the illusion has been shattered. I hope you like the 2nd season of this spinoff; keep in mind also that the story was written and they were ready to start filming when the actor who played Andre passed. They rewrote it from scratch after deciding not to recast him. Some find it disappointing but I find they did phenomenal job rewriting in such a small window. And the actors also do such a find job paying tribute to him. Can’t wait!
