The Movie Trivia Schmoedown Patreon payment processing method is a pay monthly model. This is what you can expect:
- Monthly pledges are a flat rate that will automatically renew monthly until your pledge is deleted. Patreon aggregates all payments on the 1st of the month.
- Here is a sample payment scenario: if a patron submits their pledge on November 5th, they won’t be charged for their access until December 1st.
- Where are my items?: Fulfillment for items will go out the following month of your pledge, regardless of if you continue supporting at that level for the following month.
Example: My pledge of $50 is processed on March 1st, I will receive my item in April.
Additional example: I pledge at the $50 level on February 5th, my payment doesn’t process until March 1st, my item will be sent to me in April.
4. Can I pledge just for one month at the $1,000 level and then change to a different tier?
Yes. You can pledge at a higher level for one month and then change to a different level. All payments are processed on the first of the month, so once your payment is processed then you can change to a different tier. If you pledge at a higher level at the middle of the month or after the first, you will have to wait until the following month for it to be processed by Patreon.
5. Can I make a one-time payment? There are no one-time payment options available on Patreon at this time. The best way for a patron to support The Movie Trivia Schmoedown with a one-time pledge is to become a patron, and simply delete your pledge after your been successfully charged or after the first of the month. You'll know when that happens because you'll receive an email confirmation right after the 1st of the month or when you've been charged that says your pledge has successfully processed.

I don't understand how that affects your decision? I'd be curious to know, but that doesn't affect how much I'm willing to donate. I mean, it's not like I'll be drawing the line and say "they already make 2 million a month, they don't need my money".
