September preview

September is very close and today we have some new things to show you! Thanks to your suggestions and comments, UNIT9 is developing in the right direction.

In September, you can expect a whole set of amazing miniatures. After the series on the borderline of law, it's time for representatives of law and order. It's time to bring order to the streets.

Last month accustomed us, sadly, to constantly incoming information on massively raising crime wave and various activities of extremist groups. Unfortunately most of them ended with reports of casualties.

The more surprised we are, that with the consent of authorities, we were given footage from the just accomplished police action in The Republic Bank, which we are about to broadcast.

Let us remind you, that two criminals with visible signs of illegal cyborgisation and armed with machine guns, stormed the bank’s building and took 16 hostages, among whom was the Vice-president of the Board, Mrs. Siobhan Cohen.

On the footage we can see atypically equipped police officers, taking the building by storm. We don’t know exactly how they managed to break into the building, but the whole action took no longer than 18 seconds.

Astonishingly none of the criminals fired a shot. All the hostages are safe and sound, they are being kept temporally for interrogations, which we’ve been told, is a standard procedure in such cases.

According to the Chief of Police, the officers brought into play in this case were RAID 44 (Rapid Action and Investigation Detachment 44), a special police force unit trained to combat the threat of cyborgisation. This special force was established in absolute secrecy 3 years ago. The Chief of Police was not willing to tell us, why they decided just now, to make the force public.
