The 2x2 format works great! I had forgotten that "Endtown" (highly recommended) is in that format.

I never gave the prospect much thought. But he does look pretty androgynous.

Hey, it's cool. Don't feel ashamed of having to conform for survival. A lot of us who were in the closet totally understand what that fear feels like. The important thing is you're able to tell the story you both want now. It took me 27 years before I finally had the guts to come out and say I'm a Leia and not Luke. Come to think of it, maybe I should have come out as a Wookiee; then I could have avoided shaving my legs all together and not been judged for gargling in public with a crossbow...

Yeah, this was a mistake from our newspaper run that I needed to correct. I always meant Jeremy to be gay, but when we ran in papers I never did it. I wish I could blame the syndicate (although since they wouldn't let us have Norm and Bridget live together or even hint they weren't virgins, so I'm not sure this would have gotten through) BUT the truth is I never tired. We were SO close to cancellation all the time that I wasn't sure how rocking the boat of syndicated comics would have turned out for us so I kept telling myself I'd do it when we caught on. I've been ashamed of that the past few years, so Mel and I decide to skip ahead to these strips correct my mistake. Sorry to all my gay family members, friends, and readers. Before this, I'd thought I was braver than that. -Ed
