The Shivjackers — Nomads of the Sleepless Wastes

When a convoy goes silent outside the borders of Sleepless City, the first suspicion isn’t storms or bandits—it’s Shivjackers.

They aren’t a single unified group but more like a virulent plague with countless strains. Different cells operate under names like Cutters, Needles, Blood Choir, or The 9th Smile, each with its own dialect, rituals, and marks of allegiance. But they all share the same core belief: that by inflicting pain and suffering, they can achieve a higher state of consciousness. They take pleasure in causing harm and seek to spread their twisted ideology through violence and chaos.

Shivjackers are skilled at evading capture or detection, using advanced technology like cloaking devices, drones, and other gadgets to carry out their attacks. They often target vulnerable communities on the outskirts of Sleepless City, preying on those who have no means to defend themselves against such well-equipped enemies. Their ruthless tactics make them formidable foes, feared by many within and outside the city's borders.

Despite their brutal nature, Shivjackers are not mindless savages.

Human Interface Proxy War - a skirmish game in cyberpunk reality

Human Interface: Proxy War is a cyberpunk miniatures skirmish game, in which two or more Players compete against each other by leading Strike Teams of Characters on the neon-lit, rain-soaked streets of the future: Hackers, Ronins and Uberboys with heavily cyber-modified bodies, battling it out in the streets for control over assets and cybernetic networks, using their wits, guns and cyber decks. Proxy War takes advantage of the cards that we include for each month, thanks to them navigation and playing become much more intuitive, the table gets organized, and building Strike Teams is much easier. Rules are free online.!
