When I posted this on twitter I've seen some comments saying they much prefer Cartethiya's original form and it looked like a even split among the community. One thing for certain though is Cartethiya's banner really did feel like I'm rolling on not one but two characters for the price of one, you get the cute elf and the mommy elf.
