Aglaea -Dio Pose-

Initially, I wasn'tt sure why but I just had a feeling Dio and Aglaea had a lot in common which prompted this idea of drawing Aglaea in an iconic Dio's pose.

And this is without counting the fact that they're both blonde but more on that later.

I feel that both of them are quite arrogant and carries themselves with a superiority complex. When you meet Aglaea, she presents herself as a refined and highly intelligent individual, often looking down on others including the player. She has an air of condescension, acting as if she's always in control. Similarly Dio is infamous for his overwhelming arrogance, constantly belittling his opponents and treating others as beneath him. He thrives on power and dominance.

They're both quite manipulative and cunning when you think about it. Aglaea is a master manipulator, using her wit and charisma to bend situation to her favor. Her way of speaking is calculated and always maintaining control over the conversation. In this regard you could also say Dio is similar in that he's also one of the most manipulative villain. He tricks, seduces, and deceives people to serve his goals, whether through direct coercions or psychological tactics.

Both Dio and Aglaea are quite over the top when it comes to theatrical persona. Aglaea in game exhibits a flair of dramatics in the way she speaks and presents herself. Everything she does carries an air of performance, as if she's constantly on stage. Similarly Dio is legendary for his theatrical personality. Hi has very exaggerated poses, grandiose speeches, and booming voice making him larger than life.

Going back to the Blonde point, they share uncanny aesthetical similarities. Aglaea's design gives off regal, aristocratic energy with a poised and commanding presence while Dio's fashion and presence are always extravagant, embodying the idea of a powerful and untouchable villain.

Lastly, I find that both characters are quite charismatic and alluring yet menacing. Like when you see Aglaea throughout the story, despite her condescending attitude, there's always something captivating about her, as if something is making it harder for you to look away. She has a mesmerizing presence. Dio, too, is hypnotic in his charisma. Even when he's pure evil, people are drawn to him, whether through admiration, fear, or blind devotion.
