Discord?

Based on last LIVE session on YouTube some have mentioned about having a discord where I can create a room or a special place for many of you who has an account there and we can chat more on a daily basis as a group. Talking about anything, sharing stuff etc.
SO you guys can help me decide, shall I bother getting a discord account?
